A recent documentary called "What the Health", on #Netflix, explores the links between the consumption of animal products and disease, has come under fire by health professionals for its sensational claims that one serving of processed meat a day increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 51%, or that eating one egg a day is as bad as smoking five cigarettes a day.😂😂😂
Someone, please shoot me in the face because I don't know how anyone was ever allowed to say that, without having the proof to back up these insane claims. LOL.
So I'm going to focus on eggs today and set the record straight.
Here are three reasons why you can't beat eggs.
1. They are a Protein Powerhouse:
Did you know eggs contain roughly 6 grams of protein? Kicking off your morning with protein helps sustain mental and physical energy throughout the day. So if you want to crush the day, just remember to eat more protein like eggs to get more done.
2. Did you hear of Choline?
Just because you may not have heard of choline doesn't make it any less important. Eggs have a rich source of it, which promotes normal cell activity, liver function, and transportation of nutrients throughout the body.
3. Keep it Simple:
Unlike most cereals and yogurt on the grocery shelves, eggs don't come with a complicated ingredient list. They are just "eggs" and with a low cost per serving, eggs are an inexpensive source of high-quality protein.
🍳So remember the next time someone asks how you like your eggs, say you fucking love them.🍳
